You probably love Sony by now because of their awesome products, but it’s also good to see what they are up to. At Sony’s Game Developer’s Conference you get to see lots of stuff about whats next an for the holidays and beyond. We hope you already know about Playstation.Move, but if you don’t basically it’s the Playstation’s Wii remote, but on steroids. A lot of news and demonstration at this game conference. One thing that they missed was to put Jack Tretton on stage, which they should of because he’s kind of a Playstation icon, but maybe he’ll be a the E3 2010 conference.
A cool thing that Jeff Rubenstein of Sony mentioned was that he was from the east coast and that he knows how bad it is for us over here to get any conference coverage, but he added that Boston and New York will have some coverage as well so you will probably see us over at the Beantown press conference.
Well a few days a go we mentioned that Electronics Arts will be releasing a trailer for their upcoming Medal Of Honor. It will be interesting to play the game being that it’s modern war type of game, which means that it will probably kill the Call Of Duty franchise being that Activision fired the original developers of that game.
Anyways take a look at this awesome trailer below.
WTF dude?, seriously what was going in your mind when before you lost it like that. The only thing I can think is that probably what happened pissed him off and also hes from the South, which probably makes him a bit conservative and that’s always fun a very conservative person. Anyways I hope somebody got this dude a beer or at least took him to the strip club.
There is no doubt that Playstation move is going to be a huge success in the holidays, but whats cool about it is to see the technology working on a third person shooter especially Zipper Interactive’s Socom 4. The developers of this awesome game are the first to show this technology in a war styled game, but let’s hope that third party developers make games for Playstation Move such as Call Of Duty and even Rockstar with Grand Theft Auto.
Check out the video below to see Playstation Move in action.
We recently downloaded the demo for Just Cause 2 on the Playstation 3 and well you probably already know that one of our favorite games is the Grand Theft Auto series and games similar to that genre. You also should know that we were disappointed with Rockstar because the map on Grand Theft Auto 4 was really small and made us feel short changed.
Just Cause 2 has done the opposite of Grand Theft Auto IV and the developers really knew what the gamers wanted and that is a big map. The demo on Just Cause 2 starts off in the desert region of Panau, the fictional island archipelago in the game and you get to experience the dry desert towns and even ghost towns of that region in the game.
The funny part of the game is that the desert region is only a small area in the demo. If you look at the map you can tell that it’s robust island with a very diverse eco system, which makes the game more interesting. Just Cause 2 has a Spiderman feel to it because of a that hook that Rico has which he can use to pull people and do many other cool things.
You can hook a enemy to a propaine tank, shoot the tank and have the tank drag the enemy around until it eventually explodes. Another cool thing is if you are driving a vehicle, you you can hook the enemy to the vehicle and drive around until eventually the body decomposes. Just Cause 2 will be available on the Playstation 3, XBOX 360 and PC March, 23, 2010.
Because the demo is so awesome, the gameplay is fun and reminds us of Grand Theft Auto, we give the Just Cause 2 Demo a 5 out of 5.
